In short

  • Users pay Lasso; Lasso pays you your share as set out in the rate card in your creator dashboard.
  • Earnings are cash, kept separate from coins. Coins can never be withdrawn.
  • Earnings stay in hold for the period shown in the app, then you can withdraw any time.
  • Withdrawals need KYC. TDS is deducted at each withdrawal (20% without a valid PAN).
  • GST registration is needed only above the GST threshold.
  • Receiving limits apply, and earnings may be held longer during a review (see the addendum at the end).

1.Who this agreement is between

This Creator Agreement is between [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (CIN [CIN], GSTIN [GSTIN], PAN [COMPANY PAN], TAN [TAN]), registered office [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (“Lasso”), and you, a creator or wellness buddy on Lasso (“you”).

You accept it by ticking the Creator Agreement box when you join as a creator or complete KYC in the app or on the website. We record the version you accepted and when. It applies in addition to the Terms of Use, the Community Guidelines and the Privacy Policy.

2.Our relationship

  • Lasso is the supplier to users. Users pay Lasso for calls, booked calls, gifts, subscriptions and session tickets. Lasso supplies those services and collects the money.
  • You supply your services to Lasso as an independent contributor and Lasso pays you as set out below.
  • You are not Lasso’s employee, agent or partner, and you can’t make promises on Lasso’s behalf. You decide when you are available and how you hold your conversations, within this agreement and the Community Guidelines.
  • You are responsible for your own income tax and, where it applies to you, GST.

3.Who can be a creator

  • You must be 18 or older and declare it when you join and again in KYC.
  • You can earn as soon as you join. To withdraw, you need completed KYC: your legal name, PAN, a bank account or UPI ID in your own name, your GST status, the 18+ declaration and acceptance of the current version of this agreement.
  • You may hold one creator account. Creators of every gender are welcome.

4.How you work on Lasso

  • Be who you say you are. Keep your profile, photos and voice intro honest and your own.
  • Peer support, not professional advice. Don’t present yourself as a doctor, therapist, counsellor, lawyer or financial adviser on Lasso, don’t diagnose or prescribe, and suggest qualified help when someone needs it. If someone may be in danger, encourage them to call 112 or Tele-MANAS on 14416, and report it to us.
  • Keep commitments. Turn up for bookings you accept, and deliver the minimum minutes of any subscription you offer.
  • Admit people fairly. If you approve each RSVP or seat, decline requests, or remove someone from a session, you must not do it because of their gender, religion, caste, community, region, disability or any similar personal characteristic. Lasso reviews how often creators decline and remove people, and misuse can lead to a warning, limits on hosting sessions, or suspension (see “Suspension and ending this agreement”).
  • Keep it on Lasso. Don’t ask for or accept payment outside Lasso for Lasso conversations, and don’t share contact details to move them off Lasso.
  • Respect privacy. Don’t record, screenshot or share calls, sessions or messages, or collect personal details of the people you talk to.
  • Follow the Community Guidelines at all times.

5.Prices

  • Prices users pay (for example your per-minute call rates, booking fees, subscription prices and ticket prices) are set in the app, within the ranges Lasso allows for your tier.
  • Lasso may run offers, including bonus coins for users. Your share is worked out on the price of the service, whether the user paid with paid coins or bonus coins. The cost of bonus coins is Lasso’s.
  • Session deposit: every live session you host needs a deposit, taken in coins when you schedule and shown in the app before you confirm. For a free session it is the session fee shown in the app (based on the session type, seats and length). For a ticketed session it is the fixed deposit shown in the app (based on the session type and length), and the session also has a minimum ticket price per seat set by Lasso.
  • If you cancel at least the notice period shown in the app (usually 24 hours) before the start, the deposit is refunded. If you cancel later, or the session doesn’t happen, the deposit is kept; attendees’ tickets are always refunded in those cases.
  • Approvals and removals: you can choose to approve each RSVP (free sessions) or each seat (ticketed sessions). For a ticketed session the ticket price is held when someone asks and is refunded to them in full if you decline, they withdraw, or the request isn’t approved before the session goes live. If you remove someone from a ticketed session, their ticket is refunded in full and neither you nor Lasso keeps any of it.
  • A free session that runs: the deposit is kept as the platform fee. A ticketed session that runs: Lasso keeps the larger of the deposit and its share of ticket sales. When Lasso’s share covers the deposit, the deposit comes back to you with your share of ticket sales; otherwise Lasso keeps the deposit and you receive all of the ticket sales. Ticket earnings follow the hold and withdrawal rules below.
  • Workshops: people see the length of the video you upload before they book (for example “Includes a 12-min video · then live Q&A”). If you replace the video before the session goes live, everyone with a seat or a request is told the new length. Plan live Q&A for the rest of the booked time.

6.Your share (revenue split)

For each paid interaction, you earn the share set out in the current rate card shown in your creator dashboard at the time of the interaction. Separate shares apply to calls (including booked calls and extra time), gifts, subscriptions and session tickets; Lasso keeps the rest.

  • The share that applied is saved with each earning, so later changes never alter past earnings.
  • Lasso may change the rate card for future interactions. We will tell you in the app at least [RATE CHANGE NOTICE DAYS] days before a change that reduces your share takes effect.
  • Amounts are worked out in paise and rounded as shown in the rate card.

7.Earnings, hold and release

Earnings are cash Lasso owes you. They are kept completely separate from coins. Earnings can’t be spent as coins, and coins (including coins you bought) can never be withdrawn.

StageWhat it means
In holdYour share of each paid interaction is recorded straight away and stays in hold for the hold period shown in your earnings wallet (it can differ for calls, gifts, subscriptions and tickets).
AvailableAfter the hold period, the amount becomes available. You can withdraw it whenever you like, subject to KYC and the minimum withdrawal shown in the app.
In processA withdrawal you requested. TDS (and GST, if you are GST-registered) is worked out and shown before you confirm.
WithdrawnPaid to your verified bank account or UPI ID in your name.
  • If a user is refunded because of something on your side (for example you didn’t turn up, much less time than booked was delivered, or a call broke the Community Guidelines), the matching earning is reversed. If it was already withdrawn, the amount is recovered from your future earnings and shown in your earnings wallet.
  • We may hold back earnings linked to suspected fraud, abuse or a breach of this agreement while we investigate, and keep them if the breach is confirmed.

8.Withdrawals

  • You can withdraw any time after the hold period, as often as you like, as long as your available balance is at least the minimum withdrawal shown in the app.
  • Payouts go only to a verified bank account or UPI ID in your name. Changing these details means they are checked again before the next payout.
  • Before you confirm, the app shows the gross amount, TDS, any GST and the net amount you will receive.
  • Payouts are usually completed within [PAYOUT TIMELINE]. We may pause withdrawals for verification, a court or government order, suspected fraud, or while we reconcile our accounts. We will tell you if your payouts are paused.
  • If a payout fails (for example the bank rejects it), the amount returns to your available balance.

9.Income tax (TDS)

  • Lasso deducts tax at source (TDS) at each withdrawal under the section of the Income-tax Act that applies to payments to you. The rates and thresholds come from Lasso’s TDS table, which follows the law in force, and are shown in the withdrawal preview.
  • TDS is worked out on your total payouts in the financial year (1 April to 31 March), so it may be zero at first and apply once you cross the yearly threshold.
  • Without a valid, operative PAN, TDS is deducted at 20% (or any higher rate the law sets).
  • Lasso deposits the TDS against your PAN and issues a TDS certificate (Form 16A) every quarter. It also appears in your Form 26AS / AIS.
  • You remain responsible for filing your own income-tax return.

10.GST

  • You need to register for GST only if your total turnover from all your services crosses the threshold in GST law (currently ₹20 lakh a year; ₹10 lakh in special-category states), or if the law otherwise requires it.
  • In KYC you tell us whether you are GST-registered. If you are not, you declare whether your turnover is below the threshold, and confirm this again every April. Lasso may remind you when your Lasso earnings approach the threshold.
  • If you are GST-registered, give us your GSTIN. Lasso adds GST to your payouts, and you must account for that GST and report the supply in your returns as GST law requires.
  • You are responsible for your own GST registration and filings.

11.Your content

You own your profile, gallery, voice intro, statuses and posts. You give Lasso a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host and show them on Lasso and to use your public profile content (display name, photo, voice intro, bio) to feature you on Lasso and in Lasso’s own promotion. You can ask us to stop featuring you in promotion at any time through Help & support.

12.People’s data

You will see some personal information about the people you talk to (for example their display name, photo and booking details). Use it only to provide your service on Lasso, keep it confidential, and don’t copy it or use it outside Lasso. Lasso handles personal data as set out in the Privacy Policy.

13.Suspension and ending this agreement

  • You can stop being a creator at any time by switching off your services or asking us to close your account.
  • Lasso may suspend or end your creator access if you break this agreement, the Terms of Use or the Community Guidelines, or if the law requires it. Where possible we will warn you first and give you a chance to respond.
  • When the agreement ends, earnings still in hold are released at the end of their hold period, and your available balance is paid out after final checks, less amounts to be recovered and TDS. Earnings linked to a confirmed breach may be kept.

14.Changes to this agreement

Each version of this agreement has a version number (shown at the top). When we publish a new version we will tell you in the app. You need to accept the current version before your next withdrawal; until then, your earnings stay safe in your earnings wallet.

15.Liability, law and disputes

  • Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Lasso’s total liability to you under this agreement is limited to the earnings due to you in the [CREATOR LIABILITY CAP PERIOD] before the claim, except where the law doesn’t allow a limit.
  • You will compensate Lasso for reasonable losses caused by your breach of this agreement, the Community Guidelines or the law.
  • This agreement is governed by Indian law. Please raise any dispute with us first through the grievance process. Disputes that aren’t resolved will be settled by [DISPUTE RESOLUTION MECHANISM], seated at [JURISDICTION CITY].

Addendum (20 Oct 2026): earnings reviews and limits

This addendum explains in more detail how sections 7 and 8 work when we review unusual activity. It does not change the version of this agreement or your share, and you don’t need to accept it again.

  • Longer hold during a review. If activity linked to your earnings looks unusual (for example many new accounts gifting you in a short time, money going back and forth between accounts, or a payment that is disputed), earnings that are still in hold may be held for longer while we review: currently up to 30 days, or longer if the review needs more time. Earnings that are already available or withdrawn are not held. Your earnings wallet shows the amount under review and when it is expected to be released.
  • Clawback after a chargeback or fraud finding. If the payment behind an earning is reversed by the payer’s bank or card issuer (a chargeback), or we find that it was linked to fraud or misuse of Lasso, the matching earning may be reversed. If it was already withdrawn, the amount is recovered from your future earnings, as set out in section 7.
  • Receiving limits. There are daily and monthly limits on the gifts you can receive (circle entry gifts count too), and on how much one person can gift you. The current limits are shown in your earnings wallet and may change. When a limit is reached, people see a neutral message that you can’t receive more gifts for now; your earnings are never shown to them.
  • High-value withdrawals. A withdrawal above the amount shown in the app needs an extra review by our team before it is paid, and we may ask you to verify your KYC again. Until then the amount stays safe in your earnings wallet.
  • Payout pauses and KYC. While a review is open we may pause your payouts or ask you to submit KYC again, as section 8 allows. We will tell you, and you can raise any concern through the grievance process.

Addendum (23 Oct 2026): gifts in live sessions

This addendum explains how sections 6 and 7 apply to gifts sent during your live sessions. It does not change the version of this agreement or your share, and you don’t need to accept it again.

  • What a session gift is. In audio rooms, AMAs, workshops and game rooms, people in your session can send you a gift. It is support for the service you provide as the host: the person pays Lasso, and Lasso pays you your gift share from the rate card as earnings. Like any other gift, it stays in hold for the gift hold period shown in your earnings wallet, then becomes available to withdraw. Receiving limits apply, and TDS is deducted when you withdraw.
  • Never ask for gifts in exchange for specific acts or favours, don’t pressure anyone to gift, and don’t treat people differently because of what they did or didn’t give. Gifts never change how a session or game runs. Breaking this can lead to the gift being reversed (and the matching earning reversed, as in section 7) and to suspension (see “Suspension and ending this agreement”).
  • Only you see your gift total. During a session you see how many gifts you received, your estimated earnings and your top supporters. Other people never see what you earned.
