FAQ
Questions, answered.
Can't find what you need? See our community guidelines or the grievance page.
What is Lasso?
Lasso is a social app built around circles (communities), a 24-hour feed, private chat and live sessions. Creators can also earn from the community they build, through calls, sessions, gifts and subscriptions.
Is Lasso free?
Downloading Lasso, joining circles, posting and chatting are free. Calls, ticketed sessions, gifts and subscriptions are paid with prepaid wallet coins, and you always see the cost before you confirm.
How do payments and refunds work?
You buy coins for your Lasso wallet and spend them on services inside the app. Gifts are final. Refunds for calls and sessions follow our refund policy.
Are game points worth money?
No. Points in game rooms such as Lasso Cards are just for fun. They have no cash value and can't be bought, exchanged or withdrawn, and there are no prizes.
Who are the creators?
Creators are wellness buddies and people who enjoy good conversation. They aren't doctors, therapists or counsellors, and nothing on Lasso is medical, legal or mental-health advice.
How do creators get paid?
Earnings collect in the creator's wallet and can be withdrawn to a bank account after KYC. TDS is applied as the law requires and shown before you confirm, and Form 16A certificates can be downloaded once issued. More on payouts.
Are circle chats private?
Circle feeds and chats are end-to-end encrypted, so only members can read them, and everything in them disappears after 24 hours. Private screens such as chats, calls and profiles also block screenshots.
How do I report someone?
Tap Report on their profile or during a call. You can block them at the same time. Our safety team reviews every report, and you can also reach our grievance officer.
